New Market- June 15 - Mrs. Zenia Hinkle Wray, well known resident of this community, passed away at her home here this morning. She had been ill the past two and one half years with a complication of diseases and her death occurred at 10:20 a.m. Mrs. Wray was born in Kentucky Feb. 11, 1860. She was the daughter of William and Rebecca Hinkle and was united in marriage with Edgar S. Wray March 19, 1884. She was the last surviving charter member of the New Market Baptist church. Surviving are: one son, Damon C. Wray of Darlington; a daughter, Mrs. Leona Groves of New Ross; one brother, James Hinkle of New Market, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the New Market Baptist church at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and burial will be made at the Masonic cemetery in Crawfordsville. The son, Damon C. Wray is a well known business man of Darlington and has been captain of the Darlington company of the Indiana national guard in recent years. - thanks to Kim H
